This is a ready made mixture of Italian origin which are used originally for cleaning oil paintings, very effectively indeed. You stir the inredient well, put some on a cottong swab and clean the surface carefully. The dirt goes away like magic. Since it contains a small part of ammonia it is best to clean the area afterwards with pure whiet spirit (which we also sell) with the same cotton swab method.

The Anacrosina has been also put well to use in cleaning icons and other art objects and it now has a loyal customer base.
